What is RegEnergy? Print
RegEnergy creates a Europe-wide network for sharing knowledge and information about the reform and management of the heating sector. The members of the network are national, regional and municipal stakeholders.

RegEnergy promotes the provisioning of heating within Europe which is environmentally friendly and affordable. RegEnergy does this by helping to improve energy sector restructuring, local policy making and financial instruments with a view towards the rational use of energy.

RegEnergy assists European regions and communities to meet the challenge of a rising demand for heating and cooling. RegEnergy promotes the dissemination of experience gained on previous projects in which renewable energy sources were put to innovative use.

In all parts of Europe, sustainable development and competitiveness can only occur where the access to energy is secure. By helping regions secure their access to energy, RegEnergy aims to close the development gap that exists between the different areas of Europe.
